Cultivating A Life Well Grown

My Silver Lining During The Pandemic

My heart is so full, I bought a house y’all (during a pandemic)!  The entire process has been extremely hard to keep a secret, but that is how I work... Act first upon my own understanding and rejoice later!  It has been a dream of mine to fix up an old farmhouse for quite some time, since before I ever created Sweet Maple Living.

If you’ve been following Sweet Maple Living since the beginning, you know how much I love home decor, DIY’s, renovations and making a house a home. I plan to share as much of the process as I can right here on the blog.  I haven’t been showing as much home decor and cooking as I’d like as all of my belongings have been packed up, but soon that will all return!  Thanks to Caleb for always supporting my crazy DIY dreams, you rock!

I have known all of my life that I have wanted to plant my roots where I have grown, right here in Bagdad, Kentucky and I have finally made that my reality.  If you want something bad enough you will always persevere.

If you are in the Kentucky area and need a servant hearted, honest, reliable, Realtor I can’t recommend Realtor Austin Redmon with EXP Realty enough! He went above and beyond guiding me through buying my first home. Reach out today, the market is hot and rates are the lowest they’ve been for years!  And Loan Officer, Orrie Carter at CUB Bank of Shelbyville, Kentucky for working hard to get me the best plan possible for me and the lowest rates, even answering my thousands of questions.

Cheers to being a HOMEOWNER! Let this reno party start, there’s A LOT of work to be done but I can’t wait to see the outcome.

What is your silver lining?

XOXO
Sophia
