WHEN DO WE START?
-We have created a set schedule for pickups (which can be viewed in the photos of this listing). Our model shows two pickups/month on scheduled pickup dates only. The first pickup date is June 8th, 2024. SIGN UPS END MARCH 31, 2024 UNLESS ALL SPOTS FULFILLED PRIOR!Â
HOW LONG IS THE CSA SEASON? WHAT IF I WANT MORE VEGETABLES ON ADDITIONAL WEEKS?
-Sweet Maple Farms CSA season will last 3 months from June-August. With two scheduled pickups per month this totals 6 pickup weeks throughout the 3 months. If families want additional vegetables outside of the CSA designated pickup weeks - Sweet Maple Farms will have regular produce available for purchase on farm and at market.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT EACH PICKUP WITH MY CSA SHARE?
-You can expect 6-10 items/varieties per week. All boxes will mainly consist of regeneratively and sustainably farmed fresh produce. Occasionally you may also find a fun "local" additive such as a jam, jelly, package of beef or carton of eggs, etc. Along with your produce box you will receive a weekly CSA box guide email assisting with recipe ideas, storage tips and any important information you may need to know about the weekly CSA.

First, what is CSA? Community Supported Agriculture is a symbiotic partnership between farmers and the members of their community. Members commit to the farm by purchasing a share of the seasons harvest in advance, this helps cover upfront costs of the farms production for a growing season. In exchange for your commitment to the farm, your farmers work all season long with intense focus to provide you with the freshest, cleanest, most nutrient dense produce possible.Â
BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT SWEET MAPLE FARMS CSA SHARES:
-All shares are to be picked up on our farm in Bagdad, KY during designated time slot of 10-11 am on Saturday of scheduled pickup dates or delivery. You must be able to pick up your box during this timeframe. If delivery options are needed, please contact Sophia at 502-321-1770 to discuss on case-to-case basis.
-Boxes will run TWICE a month on prescheduled pickup dates.
-Share pickups should include approx. 6-10 varieties/items per week.
-By joining the Sweet Maple Farms CSA, you are agreeing to share a bit of risk/reward nature of farming.
- CSA ADD ONS are available to add on to your regular vegetable CSA pickups: Elderberry, Jam of the Month Subscription, and Sausage - simply add the add on of choice to your cart and check out!Â
By purchasing this CSA Share Package, you are agreeing to our Legal Notice & Hold Harmless Clause and CSA Shareholder Agreement listed in our CSA Handbook (link provided above).
