Designed for kids aged between 1.5 and 13 years, our farm school offers hands-on experience with animals, plants, dirt, and the earth itself. Your kids will love getting up close and personal with our friendly farm animals and learning about the plants and crops that grow here. Plus, they'll get to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with the earth that will stay with them for years.
At our Farm School, we understand that every child's education is unique. Our program is designed to coexist alongside your child's homeschooling or public schooling. Our flexible scheduling options allow you to choose the program timeframe that works best for you and your child. Whether you're looking for a mid-day program or an after-school program, we can accommodate your needs.

WHAT IS "FARM SCHOOL"?
- Two session options are available - TUESDAYS 1:15-2:15 PM and THURSDAYS 5-6 PM - Families will pick one session day of the week to attend for the duration of their one-month tuition.
- Sessions are 1 hour in length - perfect for attention spans, education intake and family feasibility
- Our program is designed to provide children 1.5-13 years old with hands-on experiences and lessons including animals, plants, dirt, farm life, homesteading and more, that encourages children to learn by doing.
- Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian during each one-hour session. Children may not attend any farm-related activities without a parent or guardian on-site.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN TUITION?
- 1 month of Farm School sessions on your designated session date
- 1 CHILDS T-Shirt per year (included in first month tuition paid)
WHEN DO WE START?
-Our Farm School model will begin March 2024 on the designated Tuesday or Thursday of your session choice. We have created a set schedule for sessions for March, April and May (which can be viewed in the photos of this listing - the following months will be updated as we get closer). Our model shows two session choices available both Tuesday and Thursday options. One month tuition can be purchased at any time and sessions will start ASAP.
HOW LONG IS THE "FARM SCHOOL" SCHOOL YEAR?
-Sweet Maple Farms Farm School runs on a month-to-month basis. Each 1 Month Tuition invested in gives each child one month of Farm School access. Families can choose to sign up every month or one single month - we are flexible!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT EACH SESSION DURING FARM SCHOOL?
-You can expect to arrive on farm in Bagdad, KY on your designated session day of the week (Tuesday 1:30-2:30 OR Thursday 5-6) approximately 5 minutes prior to your session beginning. Children registered as well as parents/guardians attending should come dressed and prepared for the session including proper clothing and shoes for activities. Sessions are rain or shine - if extreme weather conditions occur shelter will be provided. Each session is 1 hour long - public bathrooms are not available at this time. Children will have hands on experiences with animals, dirt, plants and more! Sessions are geared to keep children engaged and involved throughout the entire session.
